Asbestos Visit and Remove

Service Description

Prior to any renovation, demolition, or construction project on New York property, the Project Manager will review the Asbestos Containing Material Building Inspection for the location of the project. If ACM is found, it must be removed prior to starting the project in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Prior to demolition and construction, the area is cleared of all moveable materials (i.e., desks, chairs, etc.). Asbestos removal is performed under the supervision of an independent asbestos air monitor. The area is sealed off to prevent demolition dust from escaping into adjacent areas. Windows and exhaust ducts are also sealed. Minor spills of asbestos must be cleaned immediately. Only after the asbestos material is removed and the area is proclaimed safe by the independent asbestos air monitor is the area open for renovation and construction.
